Terms and conditions

1. Scope

These terms and conditions apply to all programs, workshops, retreats and individual sessions offered by MINDFULNESS LIVE (SASU, RCS Périgueux 109 125 831, VAT FR80109125831, 17 Rue de la Liberté, 24290 Montignac-Lascaux, France), hereafter “Mindfulness Live”. Any registration implies acceptance of these terms.

2. Services

Mindfulness Live offers mindfulness programs (MBSR Online, Discover Meditation, Inner Wealth), workshops, retreats online and in person, individual sessions (individual MBSR, practice guidance, mentoring) and free online meditation sessions. The content, format, dates and prices of each service are described on the corresponding page of the website.

These services are educational and are not a form of psychotherapy or medical treatment, and do not replace them.

3. Registration

Registration is made through the forms on the website or by email. For MBSR Online, registration is confirmed after a personal interview with the teacher. Mindfulness Live may decline a registration if the program does not seem suitable for the person at that time; in that case, any amount paid is refunded in full.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are indicated in euros on the website, all taxes included (including VAT at 20%). The price for in-person retreats covers teaching and guidance only; accommodation, meals and travel are not included unless stated otherwise. Payment is made by bank transfer; the bank details are sent when your registration is confirmed. Card payment will be available soon. Registration is final upon receipt of payment.

5. Cancellation and refunds

MBSR Online: a refund is possible until the second session of the program. No refund is made from the second session (week 2) onwards.

Five-week programs (Discover Meditation, Inner Wealth), workshops and retreats, online or in person: no refund is made for a cancellation within the 7 days preceding the start. For a cancellation within this period, a credit note for a future program or retreat may be issued at the participant’s request.

Individual sessions: a session may be rescheduled free of charge if Mindfulness Live is informed at least 4 hours before it begins. Otherwise, the session is due.

Cancellation by Mindfulness Live: if a program, workshop or retreat is cancelled by Mindfulness Live (for example if the minimum number of participants is not reached), participants are refunded in full or offered another date of their choice.

6. Right of withdrawal

Consumers who register remotely have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of registration, in accordance with the French Consumer Code. If you ask for a service to begin before the end of this period, you will owe an amount proportional to the service already provided. In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services provided on a specific date or period, such as retreats and workshops.

7. Participation

Participants commit to taking part in the sessions with respect for the group and for the confidentiality of what is shared. Each participant remains responsible for their own health and is invited to inform the teacher of any condition that may require particular attention. Mindfulness Live may exclude a participant whose behaviour seriously disrupts the group, without refund.

8. Intellectual property

Recordings, documents and materials provided during the programs are for the personal use of participants only and may not be shared, reproduced or distributed.

9. Personal data

Personal data is processed in accordance with our privacy policy.

10. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will first seek an amicable solution. Consumers may also use a consumer mediation service free of charge. Failing an amicable agreement, the competent French courts will have jurisdiction.
